What does it mean to live from your heart? Most of us have been conditioned to try to live from our head. Everything in school is about increasing our knowledge and brainpower. An athlete may have incorporated physical training and made the body the focus. Even then most people experienced a tremendous tug between the desires of the body and the desires of the brain. Many people are still in this place of duality, trying to curb the desires of the body with the willpower or logic of the mind. How do you peacefully reconcile these two? It is by allowing the heart to lead and integrate all aspects into one coherent and cooperative whole.
The heart is where the passion to create comes from. It is where your intuition is connected with universal intelligence so you know what’s right without having to logically prove it. The heart is where the emotions that make life juicy and exciting are manifested. The heart is like the engine of a car with the emotions driving the powerhouse, fueled by the energy of the cosmos. The mind is helping to shift gears and handle the brakes when needed to keep you safe. However, the steering is done by a combination of all three. Your intelligence provides input, your heart is guidance and ultimately you trust the universe to lead you to a destination more wonderful than anything that appears on the GPS. It is the heart that integrates all input and allows you to live with passion, purpose and positive energy in joyful service to all humanity.
