Andrew Harvey is Founder Director of the Institute of Sacred Activism, an international organization focused on inviting concerned people to take up the challenge of our contemporary global crises by becoming inspired, effective, and practical agents of institutional and systemic change, in order to create peace and sustainability. Sacred Activism is a transforming force of compassion-in-action that is born of a fusion of deep spiritual knowledge, courage, love, and passion, with wise radical action in the world. The large-scale practice of Sacred Activism can become an essential force for preserving and healing the planet and its inhabitants.
Andrew was born in south India in 1952, where he lived until he was nine years old. It is this early period that he credits with shaping his sense of the inner unity of all religions and providing him with a permanent and inspiring vision of a world infused with the sacred. He left India to attend private school in England and entered Oxford University in 1970 with a scholarship to study history. At the age of 21, he became the youngest person ever to be awarded a fellowship to All Soul’s College, England’s highest academic honor.
By 1977, Harvey had become disillusioned with life at Oxford and returned to his native India, where a series of mystical experiences initiated his spiritual journey. Over the next thirty years he plunged into different mystical traditions to learn their secrets and practices. In 1992, he met Father Bede Griffiths in his ashram in south India near where Andrew had been born. It was this meeting that helped him synthesize the whole of his mystical explorations and reconcile eastern with western mysticism.
Andrew has since lived in London, Paris, New York, and San Francisco, and has continued to study a variety of religions, including Hinduism, Buddhism, and Christianity. He has written and edited over 30 books. Other honors he has received include the Benjamin Franklin Award and the Mind Body Spirit Award (both for Mary’s Vineyard: Daily Readings, Meditations, and Revelations). Among Harvey’s other well-known titles are: Dialogues with a Modern Mystic, Hidden Journey, The Essential Mystics, Son of Man, The Return of the Mother and The Direct Path.

“I can't go back to yesterday because I was a different person then.” ― Lewis Carroll, Alice in Wonderland I have been many different persons and the person writing this now probably doesn’t exist. Historically, Noel Marshall, born in Washington, DC, and raised on a farm with her 14 siblings has ventured far from home. After her Catholic education planted walls around her knowing, she travelled the road most traveled and took her first breath of air after receiving her Ph.D. in Communicative Disorders. She published in scientific journals as well as non-scientific magazines. Her calling was to the Creative yet never knew how It would express. She married her life-partner, Bob Warner, and they continued to follow the usual corporate route as Noel spent her time in hospitals rehabilitating those with loss of language/aphasia. All the while, her own language was developing. After meeting Barbara Marx Hubbard, she felt most comfortable as a “conscious evolutionary.” Together with Bob, they co-founded LightPartners whose mission is to “serve our ONE sacred life.” Their BEingness is dedicated to raising the vibration of the planet. To that end, LightPartners co-founded the Co-Creators Convergence which is open to all with a curiosity of who they will be tomorrow… and beyond. August Turak is a successful entrepreneur, corporate executive, and award winning author who attributes much of his success to living and working alongside the Trappist monks of Mepkin Abbey since 1996. As a frequent monastic guest, he learned firsthand from the monks as they grew an incredibly successful portfolio of businesses.
Service and selflessness is at the heart of the 1,500-year-old monastic tradition’s remarkable business success. It is an ancient though immensely relevant economic model that preserves what is positive and productive about capitalism while transcending its ethical limitations and internal contradictions. Combining vivid case studies from his thirty year business career with intimate portraits of the monks at work, Turak shows how Trappist principles can be successfully applied to a variety of secular business settings and to our personal lives as well. He demonstrates that monks and people like Warren Buffett alike are wildly successful not despite their high principles but because of them. Turak also introduces other “transformational organizations” that share the crucial monastic business strategies that are so critical for success.
He has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, Fast Company, Selling Magazine, the New York Times, Business Week, and is a popular leadership contributor at Forbes.com. August is bringing spirit and consciousness to life at: www.augustturak.com

Bob has "rewired" a 37-year career as an aviation association executive with a limited belief of self; choosing to move forward as a conscious evolutionary. For years, Bob was self identified as a pilot who had "survived" childhood abuse, created a successful career in service organizations and married "up." His multi-year transition to a more awakened state came through personal empowerment work, spiritual liberation and an expanded worldview.
In 2012, Bob, along with his wife, Noel Marshall, re-purposed their full-time RV-lifestyle into a "mobile turtle-hut of consciousness" and hit the "HIGHway” inviting others to the Birth 2012 movement. Today, days along The Consciously Evolving Road are directed by Spirit in sacred service to humanity. Currently, this is in the form of stewarding the CoCreators Convergence Community, participating in environmental activism and volunteering for Pachamama Alliance.
"Next" is the search of opportunities to glow, grow and serve - while celebrating Humanity’s Oneness. Bob is bringing spirit and consciousness to life at: www.LightPartners.org
